By now we've all heard about the Volkswagen Up! which was named the World Car of 2012. From the Up! comes this spin off,  the Cross-Up! Instead of just three doors this crossover will get five! Right now crossovers are on fire both here in the States and across the pond, so this Cross-Up! could be a major hit!

Have a glimpse into the future of the automotive world! At the 2012 Detroit Auto Show Volkswagen gave us a sneak peek of the E-Bugster concept car. This is the latest addition to the Blue-e-motion line of concept cars and it resembles the classic, all-time favorite Beetle.

Under the hood of this concept car is an electric motor with a lithium-ion battery. This light battery, which only weighs 695 pounds, allows the E-Bugster to travel up to 100 miles with zero emissions. A quick 30 minutes of plug in time will amount to a remarkable 80% charge. Inside, it sports traditional gauges, an energy consumption display, a driving range indicator, and a display with the battery's current charge state. This new concept car looks to be promising for all VW fans and even though we can't get behind the wheel of it yet, it's nice to know what our friends at Volkswagen are aiming for in the future.
