Ward's AutoWorld has come out with their list of the "10 Best Interiors of 2012" and the VW Beetle is landing on it!The Beetle has tons of fun and appealing accessories such as heated mirrors,heated seats, full power accessories, air-conditioning, cruise control, a leather wrapped steering wheel, leather upholserty, an eight speaker Fender sound system, a second glove box,  and a Bluetooth/ iPod interface. This Beetle can also offer you a panoramic sunroof, satellite radio, a touchscreen audio interface and a navigation system.

Its tradition at the New York Auto Show to kick of the annual World Car of the Year awards. These awards have four different categories and there are 34 different contenders. On the second day of the show the winners of four different categories are selected. The big winner this year was the Volkswagen Up! subcompact, which took home the World Car of the Year award! The VW Up! beat out other finalists such as the BMW 3 series and Porsche 911!

 

Inside Line just came out with their list of the 2011 models that had the highest percent of female owners and Volkswagen has nabbed two top spots! But not just any spots, VW came in third and fourth place. Third was the stylish and sure to be a summer time favorite, the Eos convertible with 56.4 percent. Right behind the Eos is the cute New Beetle. Last year the New Beetle was in first place but with its aggressive new styling its become popular among the guys. 54.6 percents of New Beetle purchases last year were made by women as well. With VW's sleek and stylish vehicles there no wonder why women love them!

Volkswagen has 9 2012 IIHS Top Safety Picks! Can you name them all?

Strategic Vision announced its Total Value Index for 2011 and Volkswagen is in the top spot! The Total Value Award is based on owner statements, warranties, technical innovation, standard equipment and amazing fuel economy. Essentially, the TVI directly corresponds with today's consumer, especially in an environment where rising fuel cost are a problem and affordability is important. Volkswagen hold all these characteristic and that's exactly why they are number 1!

The Volkswagen GTI was recently the recipient of the Highest Ranked Compact Sporty Car APEAL Award given by J.D. Power and Associates. APEAL stands for Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout Study.  This study examines how gratifying a new vehicle like the GTI is to own and drive. The Volkswagen GTI has an all new sport-tuned suspension, sport seats, a stylish leather wrapped steering wheel, shiny alloy wheels and a 200 hp engine that comes standard. All these features help boost its sporty look and feel inside and out. This VW is also fuel efficient with its amazing gas mileage and efficient engine. There's no reason not to love this GTI and J.D. Power and Associates would agree!

The Midwest Automotive Media Association or "MAMA" named the 2012 Volkswagen Passat the 'Family Vehicle of the Year!' The 'Family Vehicle of the Year' must have four doors and its base price must be below $50,000. The Passat beat out other vehicles such as the the Toyota Camry, Honda Pilot and the Subaru Impreza!
