Darth Vader is a celebrity, of a kind, and a spot for the 2012 Volkswagen Passat, which also appeared during Super Bowl XLV, combined a child dressed as the dark lord, some "Star Wars" music and a witty sight gag to produce a delightful commercial that has generated more than 45 million views on YouTube and been widely deemed the best of 2011. Agency: Deutsch L.A., which is the Marina del Rey, Calif., office of Deutsch, part of the Lowe & Partners Worldwide division of the Interpublic Group of Companies.

How's this for a Christmas miracle. Long story short (you can read the full story at Autoblog), guy posts a 1963 Beetle Convertible on eBay Motors with all the documentation including original registration. Who happens to see this auction, but the original owners son who's memory is sparked when he sees the original license plate number and father's signature in the auction pictures. What's better, he kept one of his father's keys as a souvenir and showed up to view the auction Beetle and unlocked the door himself. Needless to say he is now the proud owner of his father's 1963 Beetle, just in time to teach his son how to drive.

This past weekend Mike O'Toole and Tracy Brown visited the Youth Basketball Program at the Colonie Youth Center to see the kids decked out in their new Nemer VW sponsored uniforms.
